The hands-on learning will be led by Paul Keen, VP of Engineering at Culture Amp. Paul has deep engineering leadership experience from roles including Culture Amp, Cover-More Group, Tyro, Nuix, Qantas and Airtasker, helping returning engineers build practical fluency with agentic AI tools.

Cohort 1 in Sydney opened with a brilliant keynote from Jade Loyzaga (Canva) on how much the role of an engineer has already changed with AI. From there, Paul Keen (Culture Amp) and Joris Dries (Resonate CX) took the group hands-on through agentic engineering: real tools, real workflows, real confidence rebuilt in a single day.
For a lot of participants, the most valuable part of the day was simply being in a room full of other engineers navigating the exact same life stage - returning from leave, rebuilding confidence, figuring out how AI has shifted the ground under their careers, together.
